China Internet Development Statistics Report

July 18 Afternoon, China Internet Information Center (CNNIC) released the 20th China Internet Development Statistics report shows that the CN domain name annual growth rate of up to 416.5%, consolidating the status of the domestic mainstream domain name.

The total number of domain names in mainland China has reached 9.18 million, a half year growth of 5.07 million, compared with the same period in 2006 increased by 6.23 million, the annual growth rate of 211%. The main power of growth comes from our country's top domain. CN, as of June 2007, the total number of CN domain name has reached 6.15 million, annual growth rate of 416.5%, accounting for the total number of domain names in China 58.9%, the first comprehensive beyond the COM domain name in China's registration volume.

March 7 This year, CNNIC launched the CN domain name Take-off program, CN domain name first year registration fee only need one yuan, triggering the rapid growth of the CN domain name registration volume.
