China Mobile builds the country's largest cloud computing center in Inner Mongolia

November 8 News, China Mobile announced yesterday that it will set up the country's largest cloud computing center in Inner Mongolia, the next three years, China Mobile will strengthen TD-SCDMA in Inner Mongolia and the LTE of the commercial network deployment, to provide urban residents with high-speed wireless broadband network access.

The Inner Mongolia government announces that it will build the country's largest cloud computing center with the help of its rich power resources. The two sides will also cooperate in the construction of information network infrastructure such as data center, TD-SCDMA and Wireless city, and help transform the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region from resource advantage to economic advantage.

China Mobile said that the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has abundant resources, abundant electricity supply and long cold period, and has advantaged energy, climate and location advantages in developing cloud computing industry. In order to ensure the smooth development of the data center, the government of Inner Mongolia will provide the data center with a dual-circuit total capacity of 300,000-kilowatt, and according to the construction progress and demand, coordinate the power department to complete the 2X35 million kilowatt power plant construction at the end of June 2014, directly to the data center.

In the next three years, China Mobile will strengthen the TD-SCDMA network in Inner Mongolia and LTE commercial network deployment, providing high-speed wireless broadband Internet access for urban residents. At the same time, more than 10,000 WLAN hotspots are deployed. In the next five years, China Mobile will build a wireless city-related basic network, information content, application and portal platform in Inner Mongolia, actively promote the development and application of innovative wireless city industry, and fully support and promote the development of wireless city in Inner Mongolia.
