China Mobile Big Cloud 2.0 launches accelerated cloud landing pace

Following the Sutra 1.0/1.5 version, the launch of the Big Cloud 2.0 will further push the mobile cloud platform to commercial. Huang, dean of the China Mobile Research Institute, also said that the big cloud 1.5 version has been effectively applied in many fields, while the 2.0 version not only shows that China Mobile's overall technology level has been greatly improved, but also narrowed the gap with Google, Amazon and other related products, and gradually moved to commercial.

China Mobile has been accelerating the pace of infiltration to the mobile internet in recent years, and the "Big Cloud" is its innovative research and development plan for cloud computing, which is to help the mobile Internet to transform and realize the upgrade of IT support system. Sun Shaoling, director of the Institute of Business Support of China Mobile Research Institute, pointed out that under the overall framework, China Mobile Big cloud Platform has formed cloud computing IaaS, large data/analysis PAAs, transaction PAAs, cloud computing management 4 major research and development direction, completed 14 product development, including large data platform, object storage System, Parallel computing systems, massive structured storage system, resilient block storage, cloud computing management system, flexible computing systems, parallel data mining tools, search engines, cloud storage and other content.

Three Highlights of Sutra 2.0

It is understood that China Mobile cloud computing technology framework covers the "four-tier two domains": The service domain contains resource layer, platform layer, application layer, management domain includes cloud operation management and cloud resource pool management. All product components of Sutra define an open interface that enables integration with other products, thereby ensuring effective compatibility for different products.

Sun Shaoling introduced, "Big cloud" 2.0 for 1.5 has been a product depth optimization, mainly including functional improvement, performance optimization, ease of use optimization, manageability optimization and so on, at the same time, "Big Cloud" 2.0 products have also achieved a variety of corporate standards, norms of support, the formation of China Mobile cloud computing model products. In product innovation, Big Cloud 2.0 mainly added three products: Graph computing platform, distributed NoSQL Database (BC-KVDB), Distributed relational Database (BC-RDB).

Large cloud Image computing platform is a parallel computing framework based on BSP, mainly aiming at the analysis and mining of network data such as PageRank, social networks analysis, and in the same case, the efficiency of MapReduce parallel computing framework is high 100%~800%, This platform can be used for the construction of private cloud system such as large data system mining.

Sutra Distributed NoSQL Database is positioned to manage and access key-valued data, providing flexible schema definitions, efficient read and write operations, high concurrency support, strong consistency and final consistency support, and compatible with existing mainstream NoSQL access interfaces. It can be used as a relational database system for private cloud, or as a service for the public service cloud.

Sutra Distributed relational database is located in the management and access of relational data. Bc-rdb based on MySQL cluster technology, it realizes the ability of automatic data partition, distributed transaction management, read-write separation and data synchronization, and the goal is to replace the existing mainstream transaction database. The database is primarily intended for use in private cloud systems.

Sutra South Base

China Mobile in the great cloud technology innovation, but also actively promote sutra related landing work. It is reported that with the continuous investment of China's mobile, the application of Sutra is rich every year, and the maturity of products is steadily improved. Sun Shaoling revealed that the large cloud platform has been in Pangu search, wap/MMS dual Business Cloud resource pool, Heilongjiang Wireless city, Fujian government extranet, Tianjin Hexi District E-government and other commercial systems, as well as the Institute of large-scale laboratories, the South Base cloud computing laboratory projects have been widely used, deployed more than 3000 servers, The bare storage capacity is about 15PB.

As the base of China Mobile cloud computing, the South China Mobile base, through vigorously carrying out the research and practice of new technologies represented by cloud computing, has focused on the construction of "cloud computing application demonstration Area" for the service of Guangdong, South China and the whole country , since 2012, the southern base has finally achieved large-scale deployment of large cloud products. At the same time, archives, education, transportation and other industry applications have expressed strong interest in Sutra.
