He said that in recent years, the increasingly hot cloud computing, the United States, Britain, Japan and other countries have launched national cloud Computing strategy, cloud computing technology and applications will continue to develop rapidly, is expected to become the mainstream application within 2-5 years. It is expected that by 2012, 80% of Fortune 1000 companies will use cloud computing services, by 2014 the software market will increase to 10.5 billion U.S. dollars, to 2015, 80% of enterprises will use external public cloud services.

When it comes to China Mobile's understanding of cloud computing, Changling said, cloud computing is a system that leverages large-scale, low-cost industrial hardware to provide IT services through network connectivity, leveraging open intelligent software management. Cloud computing should have a large scale, flexible expansion, resource abstraction, cross-regional, resource sharing and the need to allocate several major technical characteristics. Cloud computing can be divided into infrastructure, application platform and application software according to the type of service provided, and the object of cloud service can be divided into public cloud, private cloud and mixed cloud.

Changling also introduced the latest developments in China Mobile's "Big Cloud" project. China Mobile's "big Cloud" is designed to be high-performance, Low-cost, high-availability and highly scalable. The implementation of the "Big Cloud" program is designed to meet the needs of China Mobile's IT support system, but also to meet the needs of China Mobile's Internet service for users. At present, the "Big Cloud" program is progressing well, China Mobile in the lab environment has deployed 1036 servers, 5,208 CPUs, memory up to 10T.

He also pointed out that although cloud computing is fast growing, but the availability of cloud computing systems need to be further improved, hope that the industry to work together to strengthen cooperation and jointly promote cloud computing to scale commercial.
