China South car First "harmonious 5" locomotive delivery operation

China South Car-owned Qishuyan company developed and produced a harmonious 5-type high-power AC drive diesel locomotive, has completed a few days of dynamic performance tests, and successfully passed the Ministry of Railways acceptance, the first batch of locomotives officially delivered to Harbin Railway Bureau. This type of locomotive from the South car Qishuyan Locomotive Company and the United States GE Technical Cooperation production, the technical indicators have reached the world advanced level, is China's most new generation of Green diesel locomotive.　　After entering the mass production and operation, it will gradually become the main type diesel locomotive for the freight of the railway trunk line in China. The Harmony 5 locomotive has already planned to hand in 8 units early this month, before the end of this month will hand over 23 units. Thus, the Harmony 5 locomotive officially entered the stage of mass production and vehicle delivery.
