China's 1-2-month soybean imports rose 6.1%

The general Administration of Customs March 10 released figures showing that China 2011 1-February Cumulative import soybean 7.45 million tons, an increase of 6.1%.　　Among them, imports of soybean 2.32 million tons in February, compared to last month's import volume significantly reduced by 54.86%.　　Customs also said that February imported edible vegetable oil 410,000 tons, imported cereals and cereal powder 220,000 tons, imports of fresh, dried fruits and nuts 176,000 tons. The General administration of Customs pointed out that in the amount of imports, February soybean imports of 1.354 billion U.S. dollars, a sharp decline of 52.79%, February edible oil imports of 444 million U.S. dollars, the chain fell 31.8%; February fresh, dry fruit and nuts imports 137 million U.S. dollars, the chain down 58.36% 81.701 million U.S. dollars in cereal and cereal powder imports increased by 10.95% in the chain in February.
