The report predicts that in 2011 China's import and export growth rate will fall to a lower level, the 2011 China's export growth is expected to be 0.28%, import growth rate of 3.04%, the year-on-year decline of 37.24% and 39.26% respectively. Francis Lui Ting, director of the economics department at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, said China's imports and exports are slowing gradually in the next few years, but the total volume of imports and exports is still on the rise. China's GDP growth slowed in 2011, estimated at around 10% in 2010, and around 9.5% in 2011, according to the report. The report also pointed out that in 2010 and 2011, China's CPI index will be close to 3% of the critical point. In the future, China's trade surplus will be further reduced, economic structure is facing comprehensive adjustment and transformation. (Chen Yingying)
