In response to the October survey of manufacturing purchasing managers, Zhang, a special analyst with the China Logistics and Purchasing Association, said: "The October PMI index continued to rise, reflecting China's continued upward growth in the rising channel." In view of the soaring import index, domestic demand is accelerating.
