Absrtact: In the second quarter of this year, global smartphone deliveries reached record highs, with China's handset makers having no small gains in terms of delivery and market share, according to a new market survey. The survey, released 29th by US International Data Corporation (IDC)

In the second quarter of this year, global smartphone deliveries reached record highs, and Chinese handset makers have scored little on delivery and market share, according to a new market survey.

In the second quarter, global deliveries of smartphones reached 295 million, an increase of 23.1% per cent year-on-year, according to the survey released 29th by IDC, the US International Data Corp. The top five were South Korea's Samsung, US Apple, China Huawei, Lenovo and LG, with shipments of 74 million, 35 million, 20 million, 15.8 million and 14.5 million.

It is worth mentioning that Huawei's current quarter smartphone delivery almost doubled, Lenovo's order performance is also good.
