China's software industry data processing and storage services completed revenue 531.5 billion yuan

Ministry of Industry recently announced the 2014 1-October software business economic performance. January-October, China's software and information technology services to achieve software business income of 2.9853 trillion yuan, an increase of 20.3%. Among them, data processing and storage services to achieve revenue of 531.5 billion yuan, an increase of 25.3%, the growth rate to maintain the industry first, higher than the entire industry average level of 5.1%, compared to the January-September rebound 0.7%.

Ministry of Industry data shows that in January-October, China's software and information technology services to achieve software business income of 2.9853 trillion yuan, an increase of 20.3%, the growth rate than January-September fell 0.3%, compared with the same period last year fell 3.8%. In October, the software business revenue of 303.7 billion yuan, an increase of 18.1%, the growth rate is lower than the same year 10.6%.

It is noteworthy that January-October, the national 15 central cities to achieve software business income of 1.6991 trillion yuan, an increase of 21.9%. Among the software business revenues in the central city, data processing and storage services grew by 29.9%, up 1.1% per cent from January-September, and at a faster rate than the national average of 4.6%.

In addition, in January-October, the software and information technology services industry achieved a total profit of 342.3 billion yuan, an increase of 23.9% per cent, the average number of employees over 4.8 million people, growth of 9.8%; Growth was below 2.8% per cent last year, down 0.6% from January-September.
