Cyber hacker suspects arrested for Christmas cyber paralysis 18 years old
A teenager from Merseyside, England, has been arrested recently for suspected involvement in a distributed Denial-of-service attack (DDoS) with the Xbox Live Network (PSN).
According to Sky News, this time, a 18-year-old teenager was arrested by the Organised Crime Investigation Unit (SEROCU) in the southeastern United Kingdom and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for allegedly illegally using computer information and causing death threats. Electronic devices searched from the teenager's home were also seized.
The British authorities did not make it clear whether the move was related to the paralysis of PSN and the Xbox Live network at Christmas. However, the British National Network Crime Bureau (NCCU) explicitly admits that the "newspaper false" of the illegal acts is also a part of the operation of the investigation.
"We will continue to work with the FBI to identify those who have committed criminal acts and to hold them accountable." "We still have a lot of work to do in the early stages of the investigation," said Craig Jones of the National Cyber Crime Bureau, Cregg Jones. ”
"These crimes include the false of the U.S. law enforcement Force through the Sky (microblog) PE network call, claiming that there were major dangerous incidents, leading to the government's dispatch of SWAT units. The problem of cyber-crime is not restricted by geography, and it will have a negative impact on local and entire residents, as well as on all the people on Earth. ”
"We use the latest technology to track down computer criminals and work with a number of companies and academic institutions to further enhance our professional investigative capabilities, thereby reducing the harm to the public by this type of crime." ”
