Cisco's enthusiasm for the internet of Things is not just about

According to foreign media reports, Cisco's "Internet of things" industry enthusiasm is not to say just. Cisco has set up a 500-person business unit for what the chief executive, Chambers, calls "14 trillion dollars in the next decade".

Cisco announced the creation of the Internet Business Division at its meeting this week.

The current concept of the Internet of Things refers to the use of wireless chips and sensors to connect everyday objects to the Internet. If it can be achieved, then people in the home and office space to contact the intelligent, can be controlled by an application.

Cisco's new business unit is large and has about 500 employees. Robert Sodebelli, Rob Soderbery, the company's most important business unit, the corporate network division, is in charge of the new department.

Sodebelli is Cisco's largest acquisition designer in 2012 years. The company spent 1.2 billion of dollars on the acquisition of Meraki, a start-up company that was earning only about 100 million dollars.

Another executive at the division is Granville Lanke (Wim Elfrink), the company's chief globalization officer and executive vice president. Granville Lanke had previously been responsible for the establishment of Cisco India Branch, just returned to the United States last year.

The report said that some of the previous vertical market products owned by other departments would fall under the new department, such as transportation, manufacturing, smart grids, smart cities, and so on. The department will also manage the industry with routes, switches, physical firewalls and other products.

Sodebelli said that the division already has 500 employees, the company also produced more than 200 million U.S. dollars in the budget, including research and development and product-related special funds.
