According to the Australian, the Citic Pacific Mining chief executive of Citic Pacific, Barry Fitzgerald, said that the magnetite project in West Australia's Pilbara area postponed the expected production date due to the problem of over funding and approval. Fitzgerald said the current cost of production has been increased by $350 million trillion in the previous budget target of $3.5 billion, and the project's production date will be postponed from the expected early next year to the third or fourth quarter of next year.
