November 16, 2012, Beijing-Recently, in Barcelona, Spain, the integration of mobile office and cloud services as one of the Citrix Synergy Conference, Si Jie announced the next phase of the cloud strategy, designed to help all types of enterprises and service providers to deliver business use of cloud services. With the advent of the mobile cloud computing era, global companies are looking for effective strategies to fully enjoy the benefits of cloud computing without undermining its inherent business model. Jie's new product at the Conference provides users with a simple, pragmatic "Path to the Cloud" strategy that makes it easier for them to turn their Windows applications and desktops into cloud services, and to create new cloud facilities with Amazon-style economies of scale and business agility, Bridging Low-cost computing power and third-cloud services deliver a variety of applications, data, and video services on any network to achieve optimal performance, reliability, and security.

Implementing Windows "Clouds" with the help of Avalon projects

Most business today is running on top of windows, but most of the existing Windows applications and desktops were designed without taking into account millions of new consumer electronics and vibrant self-service cloud facilities in the world. Therefore, it is difficult for enterprises to take advantage of the economy and flexibility brought by cloud facilities to meet the increasing users ' expectation of mobile office.

For most enterprise users, the first step in the Path to the Cloud strategy is to transform their existing Windows applications and desktops into flexible cloud services, deliver to any device, and provide a rich high-definition user experience. The Citrix Avalon Project, launched in May this year, is a powerful new solution, and its mission is here.

At this meeting, Jie announced that the Avalon Project will launch two versions, code-named Excalibur and Merlin respectively. The Excalibur Technology Preview, which will be available this quarter, is a breakthrough in simplicity, scalability, and rich multimedia services, dramatically simplifying virtual applications and desktop management for Citrix Xenapp® and Citrix Xendesktop® Users provide a unified approach to design and deliver any combination of virtual applications and desktops, using a common management console, and a combination of multiple virtual delivery technologies to deliver these applications and desktops to end users. Excalibur also contains the most important improvements in the HDX HD experience technology, the new breakthroughs that have greatly enhanced the benchmarking of mobile video, graphics and rich media experience for real-time analytics and new HDX for service visibility edgesight® Technology ensures that mobile workers are able to enjoy an extraordinary experience.

The Merlin Technology Preview will be available in the first half of next year, with sophisticated technology from products such as cloudplatform™ and cloudportal™, which will bring cloud-style coordination, self-service, and deployment flexibility to XenApp and xendesktop. As a result, users will be able to move across one or more sites in a flexible, private cloud environment, quickly deploy personalized Windows applications and desktops, and be able to leverage public cloud facilities on an "on-demand" basis to support changing business needs. Merlin delivers Windows applications as real cloud services, and makes it easier for users to adopt new upgrades and features at their preferred pace, allowing them to "mix and match" Different versions of Windows Server in a single hybrid cloud facility, XenDesktop and XenApp, for public clouds, private clouds, or any proportional cloud environment.

Cloudstack helps build Amazon-style cloud facilities

The second important component of the "Path to the Cloud" strategy is to focus on helping users of all sizes to build real Amazon-style cloud facilities more conveniently. To speed up the promotion of open, interoperable cloud computing, Jie launched a new series of Citrix Cloudplatform support and promotion programs at the Conference, powered by Apache Cloudstack technology. In fact, Cloudstack will continue to play an increasingly significant traction role in the open source world, where the cloudstack community already has more than 30,000 members worldwide and has become the fastest growing and most active open source project community.

Cloudplatform and Cloudstack also continue to lead the momentum of business success, and key strategic technical partners include Alcatel-Lucent, CA, Cisco and NetApp. At the same time, some of the world's leading telecommunications companies announced at the Synergy conference will be based on Cloudplatform, the next generation of cloud computing products to standardize, including BT, China Telecom, Evry, IDC Forefront, KDDI, Korea Telecom, NTT Communications Inc. and Slovakia Telecom.

More importantly, users around the world are rapidly deploying Cloudstack, both business users and service providers. The new Cloudstack cloud facility is increasing by more than 500 units a month, making Cloudstack the most widely deployed open source cloud platform, ahead of rivals. Many users have more than 1000 servers in service, and even more than 30,000 physical servers run by users, and are still increasing every month. In general, various types of users are running a variety of mature businesses on the cloudstack, only last year to create more than 1 billion dollars in cloud business revenue.

Cloudbridge Bridge to third cloud service

The third component of the Cloud "Path to the" strategy is to focus on making it easier for businesses to connect their data centers and private clouds to the third cloud service outside. The core product is Citrix Cloudbridge™, which is guarded by the back door of the enterprise data Center, which connects the data center securely, transparently, and efficiently to third-party cloud facilities. This allows users to safely take advantage of the flexible, self-service computing power provided by public cloud facilities and to seamlessly and securely expand existing data center management policies.

At the Synergy conference, Jie also announced two strategic initiatives on Cloudbridge. New A href= will be launched in November this year http://blogs.citrix.com/2012/10/17/ citrix-cloudbridge-announces-support-for-azure-and-amazon-clouds/"target=" _blank ">AWS" (Amazon Web Services) version of Citrix Cloudbridge enables businesses to freely transfer productive workloads between private data centers and Amazon cloud facilities in a secure and transparent manner, and to consume Cloudbridge cloud services from Amazon in the form of chargeback Short-term cloud projects can be built without infrastructure investment. The Windows Azure version of Citrix Cloudbridge, to be released in December, will also achieve the same value for Azure cloud users.

Delivering cloud services via next-generation networks

Whether the service is running on a public cloud or a private cloud, it is critical to be able to deliver these services to end users through a variety of devices and achieve optimal performance, reliability, and security. Creating a strong cloud network and optimizing for mobile device support is the fourth pillar of the "Path to the Cloud" strategy.

At the conference, NETSCALER®SDX demonstrated the next generation of integrated service network delivery platform. The groundbreaking NetScaler SDX platform, launched last year, allows users to run up to 40 virtual netscaler entities on a multi-tenant SDX hardware device, and is completely isolated and isolated from each other. Currently, Citrix has opened the NetScaler SDX platform to support network services from Third-party vendors. For the first time, users will be able to unify a range of Best-of-breed l4-7 network services into a seamless application control layer and promote the application of intelligent technologies into existing transport networks and emerging SDN solutions. With the help of the new generation NetScaler SDX platform, users can apply the driving security policy to the whole network, and realize the automatic deployment of the network service while delivering the service. Partners who have announced support for the new open NetScaler SDX platform include: Aruba, BlueCat, CSE Securematrix, Palo Alto, RSA, Splunk, trend technology, Venafi, and Websense.

In addition, Jie has launched a new uxi analysis technology for Citrix Bytemobile, a recently acquired Jie data and image optimization platform designed for mobile network operators. With the advent of the mobile cloud computing era, mobile operators are facing explosive growth in network traffic, driven by new consumer electronics, rich multimedia and video content, and a combination of high-speed 3G, 4G and LTE networks.

The new Bytemobile Uxi Analysis technology can detect the mobile data performance of operator networks and provide insights into the user experience. The data is then analyzed in real time, and the User Experience Index (UXI) is generated--each user will have a unique score--to help bytemobile the system to adjust the application and content-level optimization techniques to ensure that the best experience is provided for each user. The new Uxi technology will be available as an add-on license to more than 130 mobile network operators in 60 countries, and today they are using Citrix Bytemobile technology to provide services to more than 200 million users worldwide.
