Download Citrix ICA client RPM, find and download 9.0 ICA Linux client from below

Http://www.citrix.com/lang/English/downloads.asp

File name should be icaclient-9.0-1.i386.rpm

Turn the RPM package into a deb bag

Install the ' Alien ' package

sudo apt install alien

Create the. Deb to the Deb bag

Alien icaclient-9.0-1.i386.rpm

This will create a package called ' Icaclient-9.0-1.i386.deb '

Installing the Deb Package

sudo dpkg-i icaclient-9.0-1.i386.deb

Installing the Motif Library

sudo apt install libmotif3

Kubuntu only need: Install LIBXP 6

sudo apt install libxp6

Firefox pnagent ICA Plugin

Create symbolic links for Firefox pnagent ICA Plug-ins

sudo ln–s/usr/lib/icaclient/npica.so/usr/lib/firefox/plugins/npica.so

Client Installation

You should now be able to configure the client in its run:

/usr/lib/icaclient/wfcmgr

Create a new connection: Tools->settings->preferences (dropdown to) Server Location (your network management should be able to supply these details)

Configure server options: Connection->new->network (IBID., your network must support the details set above)

Configuration display options: Connection->properties->network (dropdown to) window select 16million colors (if your video card supports) &seamless window

Once the client is configured, can launch the ICA client by running:

/usr/lib/icaclient/wfica

You should also be willing to update the path definition under/etc/environment to include/usr/lib/icaclient.

Alternatively, create a symbolic link for Wfica:

sudo ln-s/usr/lib/icaclient/wfica/usr/local/bin/wfica
