China IDC July 12: According to a recent study published by Gartner, Cloud computing and large data will be the focus of Chinese IT companies and investment hotspots in the next three years. Nearly 80% of domestic companies will increase their investment in cloud computing in 2014, and Chinese companies are less concerned about public and private clouds.
In 2013, China's first three-digit IT spending was: cloud computing, large data and information management, and data center consolidation. These three areas are significantly higher than the global peers. By 2016, China's CIO will focus on three major areas of business intelligence applications, cloud computing and mobile technology, according to projections.
