Multi-Play Network (compiler/gmi) rumored cloud computing gaming platform OnLive will be listed in North America this month, the British telecoms company said, at least until the end of 2011, OnLive will not land in the UK. "Over time, the bandwidth of consumers will increase, and the game will become more and more complex." We look forward to a more attractive and mainstream model for distributing games in cloud computing. "BT Technology is a good catalyst for this evolution," said a spokesman for the British telecoms company. Many popular game works are expected to be available through onlive today. We will release our listing plan later this year and we hope to be able to complete it by the end of 2011. BT recently acquired the right to operate the OnLive gaming service in the UK and acquired a 2.6% per cent stake in the OnLive company. OnLive's operating principle is to allow the game to execute in the server, even if the 3D image of the game screen, will be converted and compressed into a similar format of the film, through the network to send to the player's computer. OnLive claims that with their exclusive compression technology, even a FPS game with a special requirement for a frame number can be delayed by only 1ms. That is to say, players need to have a PC or buy the company's special set-top box-like device microconsole, and they can play to all platform games on a pay-per-view basis. Earlier, the United States has announced that OnLive will be listed on June 17, monthly rental of 14.95 U.S. dollars.
