OnLive: Provides real-time interactive network gaming services based on cloud.
Onlive's new owner, Gary louder, remained silent until yesterday, when he posted on Onlive's official blog to reassure users about the future.
Louder did not talk about the details of OnLive's future development, just a few directions. "OnLive's core technology is now doing two great things, one is gaming service, one desktop gaming side service," he said. But these are just the beginning. "OnLive may have several important updates on its desktop side cloud services, allowing users to seamlessly migrate their experience of using the Windows desktop to other devices, such as Apple's IPad."
From OnLive's new revamped website, it has already listed the cloud services provided to the game as an infrastructure project, perhaps OnLive's ambition after owning a new owner is to extend its cloud services to a wider range, possibly as a third-party company opens its cloud service platform and leverages its cloud services technology.
OnLive is currently recruiting a large number of employees and is expected to invest more in research and development in the near future.
