As more and more companies concentrate a wide range of services into the cloud, they face the challenge of reconciling different services and managing various http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/13793.html "> Cloud service Providers." The entry of cloud service agents is to challenge these complexities. Searchsoa's Jack Vaughan a conversation with Robert Fox, director of the EAI and business-to-business software development of the integrated Agent liaison, revealing the current status of cloud and agent choices.

Do you think this year is a cloud service agent year?

Robert Fox: I think 2012 will certainly know the terminology of the industry, it will be really easy to be comfortable. Cutting-edge analysts have begun to discuss our cloud strategy.

Why? Is there anything special about it?

Fox: Generally, this is the trend to adopt the cloud. Many companies have taken a serious look and are moving away from traditional internal solutions and looking for new cloud solutions. Of course, there are many reasons and interests. The point is that customers and companies are turning to the cloud and using it to solve problems, they want to solve all the problems, or they want to start solving most of the problems. This becomes a new management issue for customers or companies.

One example: If we turn our CRM into cloud, CRM-whether it's salesforce, sugar or other companies-they're going to be offering "façade services". It covers the way you talk to them and manages cloud solutions. The thing is, can I manage a different cloud strategy or a cloud provider's business? The answer we see is, No.

If you move your traditional internal services to the outside, you can work with a variety of cloud services, and it can be a headache to use that service and manage them. This is why cloud services agents were born. Cloud service agents can do two things. One is to adopt a management approach, they do not have to manage different connections to different services, just to coordinate them. The second thing is that we can quickly turn out.

Liaison is a business-to-business history, can you say so?

Fox: Yes, we're not just business-to-business. We call this concept the EAI in the cloud, and the idea is more challenging. If the customer has an internal background system, but they want to integrate the data in the cloud, they do not want to hire people to maintain the system's internal and external data.

So is there any relevant technology and features that the company has developed and has a successful implementation of multiple cloud services?

Fox: Yes, I think it's fair to say. Sometimes we have some complex needs to meet business-to-business solutions. For example, I want to add a value for something, whether it's the most basic thing, such as POS and invoices, or just subscribe to some specific service, to do real-time tax lookup, or real time shipping, or something like that. "Cloud services Agents" do not have to learn, "How should I connect the service, how to format the message, I can do these things?" "Simple to do tax search or shipping information." As a result, these services are becoming more common.

When you talk about clouds, you may hear more about service. Do people have to do something at their end to get these data services?

Fox: That's for sure, because our traditional approach is to go out and buy software, get hardware, and install software, and if you don't have the resources to support software and hardware, you have to have well-trained, ready-looking employees. I think, fundamentally, the appeal of service is, "Don't let us do it, let's take a different approach." "Traditionally, we associate a service that subscribes to things, software permits things." This attracts many companies, especially in the current economic situation, if they think that the value is rising, the cost is down, and you can prove the way of service, which is very attractive.

You don't want to achieve something that you think is difficult. Many concepts are derived from SOA attempts to improve capabilities, whether or not you are hosting these services, by standardizing and semantic models or by translating things into service concepts. I think [cloud services agents] is just the next iteration.

Gartner: Cloud Services Agency's key is cloud computing

As the IT department continues to find convenient ways to cloud computing, Gartner Research has found that cloud services agencies (CSB) can reduce overhead and help with cloud computing. Mohawk Fine Papers (Mohawk Hardcover) is the latest case study, which is the liaison room, and they believe that the role of cloud computing will grow in integration, CSB to guide. "Cloud services agents can help promote SOA and cloud computing in midsize organizations," says Mohawk Fine papers CIO Paul Stamas. "Companies like liaison are traditional business-to-business, focusing on expansion including cloud service proxies and cloud integration skills that respond to customer needs for outsourced management."
