Beijing time March 11 morning news, according to foreign media reports, the U.S. market research company comscore published a Wednesday survey, 35% of social gamers are willing to participate in marketing activities to obtain virtual currency, 53% of players said, if there is a choice, can consider this activity. ComScore surveyed 799 social gamers. These players play at least one social game a month, and 54% of respondents play social games at least once a day. The findings are a positive sign for social-game developers who want to profit from marketing campaigns. The so-called marketing activities in the survey included watching promotional videos and filling out questionnaires. The survey found that players in the 25-34 age group were most willing to participate in a marketing campaign in exchange for virtual money, with 71% of respondents "very willing" to participate in such activities. The survey also showed that about 30% of respondents said they did not have the ability to pay cash for the virtual currency. But more than half of the respondents were willing to consider acquiring virtual currencies through marketing campaigns. The survey also showed that even those respondents who were able to cash in on the virtual currency would like to have more choices, but only if they did not bother with spam. (Ding Macro)
