The company surveyed 1386 mobile phone users from 9 countries in emerging markets and asked them how big the next phone would buy.

The vast majority of respondents thought 4-inch handsets were not satisfactory, but 4-inch handsets still accounted for a certain percentage of the market, although the overall ratio was lower than in other sizes, for example, in South Africa, nearly 1/3 of respondents wanted to buy mobile phones that were more than 5.5 inches above the screen.
