Create IBM Business Process Manager Advanced V8.0 cluster environment with scripting automation

This article takes a typical cluster topology: Gold Topology (Golden topology) as an example, detailing how to build a BPM cluster environment with scripting automation.

The topology shown in Figure 1 contains multiple custom nodes and a Deployment Manager node. Create three clusters on the custom node:

HTC cluster: Provides messaging-related basic services; Creator cluster: Used to install applications that run the execution Business Process Model and notation (BPMN) Business process engine for the process; Support cluster: Used to install CEI (Common Event infrastructure) and other support programs, such as configured Data Warehouse.

This article only creates an IBM BPM cluster environment and does not consider installing IBM Business Monitor on BPM; there are three different versions of IBM Business process Manager V8.0: IBM Business Process Manager Express, IBM Business Process Manager Standard, IBM Business Process Manager Advanced, this article describes the IBM Business process Manager Advanced version; All the operations covered in this article are performed in a Linux virtual machine environment.

Creating a gold cluster topology can be divided into the following steps:

Create profiles (profile) and associate nodes, configure the databases needed by the cluster, create deployment environments (Deployment environnement definition) and add nodes, build deployment environments, import system information into the database, and verify the deployment environment.
