Cups is a standard printing system for Mac OS X and UNIX operating systems. It provides system V and http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/33795.html ">berkeley command-line interfaces, and uses Internet print protocols for print and queue management." Server Message Block (SMB) and Appsocket (also name JetDirect) protocols that support line Printer Daemon (LPD). Cups added print options for network printer browsing and PostScript printer descriptions to support real world printing.

CUPS 1.5.2 This version fixes a compressed package released by the CUPS 1.5.1.
