Flying Elephant Network (compiled 文慧) according to the International market research company Parks Associates data show that by 2015, global smartphone users are expected to exceed 2 billion, unit sales increased by 175% in 2010. Hardware and software innovations, such as dual-lens video chats and application content consumption, will continue to drive the entire market upward. The company's smartphone market reported that smartphone shipments will increase by 70% in 2010, with a total of about 500 million subscribers. "Smartphones represent a new way of life," says Halley Wang Harrywang, head of mobile research at Parks Associates Company. Consumers ' desire for that lifestyle accelerates the replacement cycle of traditional handsets and will drive the recent smartphone boom. "The most successful manufacturers, including HTC, Samsung and Apple, are also the most innovative companies," he said. Companies with slow pace of innovation, such as Nokia and Rim, have begun to fall in market share. RIM's smartphone market share fell from 19.8% in 2009 to 16.5% in 2010, while Apple's smartphone market share rose from 13.9% to 15.8%, the report showed. But the market income of the non equipment class also changed. "Operators are facing the risk that mobile broadband content and application market revenue streams are being looted by emerging rivals," said Jennifer Kent, a research analyst at Parks Associates. "However, market segmentation will push developers to form WAC, a global open Cross-platform Mobile Application Distribution consortium of leading telecoms organizations to keep operators alive." ”
