A Chrysler dealer group filed an application in Tuesday to the U.S. Bankruptcy court to postpone the sale of most of the company's assets, saying the latter would need more time to defend it after Chrysler canceled its dealership's sales contract, the news said late May 19 in Beijing. Lawyers for the John Woo international law Firm (Squire, Sanders Dempsey LLP) in New York today filed an application with the New York State US Bankruptcy court on behalf of some 300 Chrysler dealers from 45 states. Earlier, Chrysler told the dealers not to continue to sell the company's cars. (Tangfeng)
