NetEase Technology News September 27, according to Bloomberg reported, Dell CEO Michael Dell (Michaeldell) recently said that the company's privatization after the success of the 10 to 20 will be measured. "The company will need a long-term vision and strategy, as well as a more aggressive long-term investment." Michael Dell said today at Oracle's keynote address at the OpenWorld conference in San Francisco. Michael Dell and Silver Lake were approved by shareholders on September 12 with a 24.9 billion dollar plan to privatize Dell. After years of hard work in the mobile computing industry against Apple and Samsung Electronics, Dell opted to privatize, plan to lower its reliance on PC business, and expand its hardware and software business for enterprise data centers. Michael Dell says the company plans to expand through acquisitions and investments in faster data centers, mobile devices, and data analysis areas. He said Dell will release a tablet computer for the consumer market in the coming weeks. At the conference, Oracle and Dell also announced the expansion of cooperation in the field of data management. Dell will focus on capturing IBM's mainframe corporate customers and luring them to Dell's best-selling servers in his speech, which he calls IBM as a competitor for the company to catch up with. Dell and Oracle say they will provide technology to help companies manage the servers running Oracle software. In June this year, the two sides reached a partnership agreement to test the Oracle version of the Linux Open-source operating system and virtualization software on a Dell server. The collaboration aims to reduce the difficulty of the Enterprise Information Technology department in installing hardware and software from different companies. (Lebang)
