BEIJING, May 7 (Xinhua) China's vice minister of Commerce, Xiuhong 7th, said in Beijing that China's policy of actively absorbing foreign investment will not change, and that the Ministry of Commerce will continue to work to create a good environment for foreign investment, hoping to strengthen communication with multinational companies and foreign-funded enterprises. The data showed that in 2009 China absorbed foreign investment at a 90 billion dollar high, down only 2.6%, the world's second-largest.　　Thanks to China's rapid economic recovery and the continuous improvement of investment environment over the years, foreign-invested enterprises in China still operate well in the context of the global financial crisis, and many foreign-invested enterprises in China have become the growth bright spot and main profit source of their parent company's global business.　　Xiuhong said that the stimulus package had added impetus to foreign-owned enterprises affected by the financial crisis, and that the acceleration of China's transformation of economic development and modernization and urbanization would create new development opportunities for Chinese enterprises, including foreign-funded enterprises.
