As disk prices continue to fall, more and more disaster-tolerant backup systems use the local data through the network to the server disk for backup, but the advent of large data age, resulting in increased storage pressure. However, in the vast data, a large percentage of data activity is not high. A file backup and recovery system based on tape tiered storage is designed and implemented, indexing and organizing backup files to achieve incremental backups; The system splits the server side into two parts, first backs up the file data to the server disk, and then, according to the relevant time retention policy, archives the low activity data to the tape. Ensure efficient use of server disk in large data age.
