Design and implementation of multi-star table storage and cross identification based on Hadoop
Shandong University Zhang Xiaxu
In the face of astronomical data, how to efficiently store and cross identification of multiple star table is particularly important. Massive astronomical data processing must use the large data processing technology such as distributed, parallel computation to be able to solve effectively. In this paper, the use of Hadoop to deal with astronomical data is studied, the main work is divided into the following three parts: 1. Using the HBase component of Hadoop, the effective storage of different star table data is constructed, and the efficiency of cluster disk utilization and the query of Star table information is improved. 2. Based on the research of HEALPix and HTM two pseudo two-dimensional spherical indexing methods, the paper combines Hadoop to realize the efficient cross identification between multiple star tables. 3. Store the cross-identification results in Hadoop to facilitate user downloads of cross identification results and downloads of query results based on specified information. This article combines Hadoop to realize the storage of massive astronomical data and the cross identification between multiple stars, which effectively improves the storage and cross identification efficiency of the data, and has important reference value for solving the similar astronomical data processing in the future.
