In the field of petroleum exploration, the establishment of cloud computing terminal and virtual storage platform is the trend of informatization, regionalization and high efficiency in the future energy exploration field, this paper designs a cloud computing platform based on massive data storage, aiming at oil exploration, a special industrial field of compute-intensive and data-intensive. And the virtualization technology is integrated into the platform design idea and the architecture, the basic algorithm of the cloud computing resource scheduling system for petroleum exploration is given, which provides a feasible discussion for the design of similar prototype system.
