In view of the lack of bandwidth resources due to the large data transmission in the traditional campus video surveillance system, a distributed campus video monitoring system based on cloud computing is proposed in this paper. Using distributed computing to divide processing of massive video data application of virtual resources instead of limited physical resources to realize full virtualization of storage provides stronger storage and sharing capabilities and integrates the wired and wireless networks of campus monitoring systems with the most rationalized use of system resources The experimental results show that the campus video surveillance system with cloud computing architecture can improve the video image clearly and smoothly, and it can greatly enhance the capability of storing mass storage with high security, high performance and scalability. Therefore, the design of distributed campus video surveillance system based on cloud computing has high application value.
