It can be said that the world economic structure has changed radically since the Wall Street financial crisis broke out. On the one hand, the U.S. economy has begun to decline, the "American model" is no longer bullish, on the other hand, the role of developing countries, especially China is more and more important. From July 8 to 10th, the annual Group of Eight Summit was held in the central Italian city of Aquila. From the world economic crisis to the issue of climate change, from energy security to food security, from global trade issues to global security issues, summit issues are "everywhere". The G8 members are made up of the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Canada, Japan and Russia, and China has been more and more valued by the G8 group in recent years. The G8 summit was dominated by a raft of issues such as global politics, security matters, energy emissions reduction, food issues, North Korea's nuclear Iran, but after the international financial crisis detonated by US Wall Street, the halo of the G8 summit has faded and its ambitions have waned. Why is it that the "American model" of the "American model" is losing its past attention? Because chewing to chew, too many things in the mouth chew not rotten, even if reached some consensus or long-term goal, then promise can be cashed, the hearts of all countries are novices. Visible, G8 in recent years is indeed increasingly feel powerless, especially after the financial crisis has lost the charm. How far can the American model go? It is therefore regarded as a major proposition and observation point, because the United States is after all G8 bibcock. A few years ago, China was a supporting role for the G8 summit, this year, when China was invited to attend, the Chinese Trade and Investment Promotion group, comprising 300 entrepreneurs, was brought in to visit Italy, after two days of talks, the Chinese and Italian companies have signed more than 30 bilateral cooperation agreements, involving a total value of $ more than 2 billion. At this time, the world once again exclaimed that more attention has been diverted to China. However, Yafei, Vice Foreign Minister of China, said that the international community needed to face global challenges together and that no country could rely on its own strength to meet these challenges, and that the G8 international mechanism lacked the voice of developing countries and was not sufficiently representative, so G20 came into being. In addition, he also said that in the next few years, the United States dollar will remain the main international reserve currency. This shows that the US model will continue to remain in the next few years, but that does not mean that the US model is still strong. Developing countries braced for the rise of emerging economies such as China, India and Brazil, the share of the Group of eight in the global economy has fallen year by minute, and the global economic problems cannot be dealt with without the participation of these countries. This is why, in recent years, every eight-nation summit has invited some important developing countries to attend. It is said that this year's G8 summit depends on developing countries to support the scene, which is certainly awkward for G8, especially the United States. It turns out that the American model is indeed fading. The main reason, of course, is that the American model has gone the wrong way, or that there are many problems,And China is appearing in a healthy posture in front of the world. And this is not the question of who squeezed who, it should be the health of economic policy, from this level, the American model does need to rethink. Markock, a Republican congressman who visited China as a member of the U.S. delegation, said in an interview that "China has no intention of lending too much money to the US". Whether the above statement is correct or not, the American model began to be insecure, and the emergence of anxiety is a fact. How far can the American model go? Or whether the United States has the absolute authority to defend itself is worth thinking about. In my opinion, the "American model" has started to go downhill, and now it's just a slow slowdown. China attracts more attention recently, media analysts estimate that this framework may have "significant changes" by the time the G8 summit in France enters its sixth cycle in 2011. However, international experts also pointed out that the eight industrialized countries still needed to achieve their political objectives through the G8 communication mechanism and to influence and control world economic development, so G8 would not disappear in a short period of time and G8 and G20 would coexist in the future. But in any case, China's rise will become a historical necessity. Market watchers believe China's goal is to reduce its over-reliance on the current reserve currency. The dollar is the world's main reserve currency, so it is under great pressure. No wonder some people think that when China coughs, the dollar falls. Of course, the dollar's fall was a result of its own, not because of China's diversification of the international reserve currency. In other words, the decline of the American model is not caused by China's rise, but by its own problems. China's G8 summit has attracted more attention, indicating that China has established its own model of development, specifically in dealing with the effects of the international financial crisis. For example, in expanding domestic demand and stabilizing the domestic market, and through the domestic market to affect the international market. Data show that in the past the size of China's economy is only 6.4% of the United States, now nearly 1/3 of the United States. and data show that 30 years ago, China's economy could not even enter the world's top 10, and now it is approaching the world's second-largest economy. Not only that, many countries in the world believe that China's way of development can be emulated, and even think that it can be found to become a global power another way.
