Tivoli Service Don Manager is a component based on the Tivoli Process Don Engine that enables you to implement a data model, workflow, and application by using the concepts of service definition and service deployment instances. Thus automating the management of IT services.

As shown in Figure 1, the Tivoli Service Don Manager requires a complete virtualized management environment for normal operation. Whether it's for concept validation or in-house training, it takes a lot of time, effort, and skill to build a complete virtualized management environment, not to mention acquiring and configuring hardware and software resources.

IBM Cloud Simulator for Tivoli Service Don Manager is a Tivoli service Don Manager and IBM Cloud Simulator product portfolio, IBM Cloud Simulator acts as an emulator for the infrastructure configuration component. This simulation component defines and populates data center infrastructure objects (services, networks, and storage) for Tivoli service Don Manager, effectively reducing the need for a real physical infrastructure.

This product is available for IBM SmartCloud Enterprise, and it provides a working Tivoli service Don Manager image that can be preconfigured to simulate customer environments, By eliminating the need for a custom automation layer to use the real customer environment, the complexity of building a first-step proof-of-concept prototype is reduced to make a profit. It also provides users with a self-service experience of private cloud service management capabilities.
