Following Facebook's launch of an Independent IM application, Facebook Messenger, Facebook today launched a group of groups independent apps to further dismantle the social functions of the site.
Groups's target audience is 700 million users who use the Facebook "group" feature, with about half of the 700 million people landing groups on the mobile end. To better serve these users, Facebook decided to do the core experience through a single product.
The use is similar to the main application in Facebook, and the pages and functions are more concise. The groups you focus on are displayed in the home page, and the most frequently used are arranged at the top. Switching between groups is also more convenient.
Click the Create button to quickly create a group that includes family, friends, classmates, teammates, neighbors and shopping classes, Supports user-defined group properties. The design of the notification center is also more conducive to screening, in the Discover plate, the algorithm will be based on your point of Praise page, your friend's group and your place of residence to recommend groups.
The app is built by Facebook Creative Labs, the fifth app it has launched since January this year. The other four applications were monitors, Slingshot, mentions and rooms.
Currently, IOS and Android versions of groups apps are already available for download. You may rest assured that this is not a mandatory use.
