Dropbox and box users are concerned about security issues, but Google Drive and Apple icloud users look more concerned with specific operational issues. Is this a dangerous signal? Or is there a difference in security concerns between different cloud storage service users?

But recent reports from the technical community FixYa show that this difference is evident. Notably, FixYa is really looking for helpful answers, unlike traditional technology sites from washing machines to baby stroller users. The results of the report were interesting because the security issues that were thought to be the most important were not everyone's concern.

Of course, in the Dropbox user problem, the most talked about security issues, in 40% of the problem is mentioned. The limit of storage space is second, file synchronization is third.

However, for box users, security is not a particularly big problem, these users are most concerned about the upload problem, accounting for about 25%.

Perhaps the most interesting thing is that Apple icloud and Google Drive users, security concerns are largely unconcerned, and their list of problems is full of specific application issues.

For Google Drive users, the loss of files is the biggest problem, accounting for 30% of the total number of problems. Sync files and Google file conversion by 二、三位.

Synchronizing files is also a common problem among Apple users. But for Apple users, asking the most is a specific application question: 35% of users are concerned about the upgrade of Apple Kings Lion OS X and its impact on icloud.

Who cares about the security of storage?

The obvious difference is that all cloud storage services should have a security concern in common. Of course, there is also the possibility that Google and Apple users are also worried about security issues, but not expressed.

In fact, the problem may not be so incomprehensible. Dropbox's hacking attack this summer has led companies such as IBM to start boycotting similar online storage services such as Dropbox and icloud. This may affect the Dropbox brand in the consumer's mind security.

But for the public, they think Google and Apple services are still safe and secure, so there is no need to pay special attention to their security. Although IBM does not think so.
