Skyline-join query algorithm based on MapReduce

Skyline queries are a time-consuming operation, while Skyline queries involving multiple tables (Skyline-join queries) bring more load to the database system, affecting the response time of the entire system. To solve this problem, a Skyline-join query processing algorithm based on Google design mapreduce Parallel processing framework is proposed, which reduces the complexity by slicing and pruning, and improves query performance. Experiments on Amazon's cloud computing Platform (EC2) show that this algorithm can effectively reduce the redundant operation and the network data transmission, and is not affected by the number of nodes and the amount of data, so it is very extensible.
