Dropbox, a start-up with cloud file management, is building a cloud application platform at an alarming rate, which has been extending its IPO since last month's acquisition of the ebook reading service Readmill, last week's release of the photo storage management Application carousel and the Android version Mailbox. The road singing the company today will also provide a cloud image management applications loom acquisition.
Loom founder Senderek through official blog announced the news and said loom service will be officially closed next month 16th. Users will then have the option to seamlessly transfer to carousel or choose to end the service. For those who choose to join the Carousel, Dropbox will provide permanent free space that matches the original capacity, while paying users will receive a one-year extra space. Select a user who is no longer available to apply to loom for a compressed file that includes all original size photos and videos.
The loom service is similar to Carousel, whose team will join the Dropbox after the service is shut down, and, according to Senderek on the blog, will focus entirely on "new features that bring a good user experience".
