Vodafone has so far remained dominant in Europe and South America and is actively seeking opportunities in Asia. The partnership is believed to open a mobile internet market for more than 400 million users in Dropbox.

Starting in March, Vodafone users in some countries will start using Dropbox as the default service for daily backup and synchronization of multimedia files and other data. Users who register their new Dropbox account through Vodafone presets can receive 25G free storage space. By the end of the year, the service will be pushed to the vast majority of Vodafone users ' handsets.

Earlier, Dropbox has worked with equipment vendors such as Samsung and Dell to reach 300 million subscribers by mid-2014. This cooperation with Vodafone will give Dropbox a huge room for growth beyond the American market.

Dropbox CEO Marc Leibowitz declined to disclose details of the cooperation, but said Dropbox in this cooperation is not only the cost of the preset costs so simple, but strategic cooperation.
