III. Electronic commerce permeates the national economy all walks of life
Survey shows that e-commerce transactions have been widely infiltrated into various sectors of the national economy, in the investigation involved in the 16 industry categories, 76 major categories of industry, 75 major categories have e-commerce trading activities.
(i) The imbalance in the development of electronic commerce between industries
In the major categories, the largest E-commerce transactions in 2012 is the computer, communications and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry, for 508.17 billion yuan, followed by the wholesale industry for 491.86 billion yuan, the automobile manufacturing industry ranked third, Is 292.98 billion yuan, the tobacco products industry is 286.1 billion yuan, and the fifth place is the ferrous metal smelting and calendering processing industry, which is 157.24 billion yuan.

(ii) Electronic commerce in the electricity, heat, gas and water production and supply sectors has increased fastest
In the sector, the highest growth in e-commerce transactions in 2012 was the electricity, heat, gas and water production and supply industries, which grew by 73.9 over the previous year, followed by wholesale and retail sales, growth of 34.3%, and 32.4% per cent in accommodation and catering.

(iii) E-commerce has changed the mode of enterprise marketing
The survey shows that E-commerce has changed the business model of enterprises, reducing the transaction costs and operating costs. From 2012 E-commerce sales accounted for the proportion of operating income, wholesale and retail industry accounted for the highest, 37.2%, followed by education, 27.8%, transport, warehousing and postal services, 27.5%; manufacturing, 24.5%.

E-commerce expands the sales channel of the enterprise. Enterprises through the network to understand market information, the use of E-commerce trading platform directly to provide consumers with products, greatly reducing the intermediate link of product sales. The survey showed that the amount of enterprise sales to individuals (consumer) is 453.87 billion yuan, of which, the amount of manufacturing sales to individuals (consumer) is 187.34 billion yuan, indicating that the manufacturing industry is changing the traditional way of sales, through E-commerce trading platform directly to sell products to individual users. The amount of business in the wholesale and retail trade is 176.9 billion yuan, with the wholesale business selling more than $72.83 billion in retail sales of 104.06 billion yuan.
Iv. high concentration of e-commerce transactions in enterprises
Sub-enterprises, in 2012, the largest e-commerce turnover of the top 100 enterprises, the manufacturing industry has 69, the wholesale and retail industry has 27, the service sector has 4. Of the top 100 E-commerce transactions, there is no construction, accommodation and catering and real estate development business. The e-commerce turnover of these 100 companies is as high as 1,832,240,000,000 yuan, accounting for 63.6% of all e-commerce transactions.
In the industry, the largest e-commerce turnover in the manufacturing industry is Fu Tai Wah Industrial (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., it is also the country's largest e-commerce business transactions, e-commerce turnover of 174.631 billion yuan, followed by the State grid companies, e-commerce turnover of 84.36 billion yuan; third, ZTE Co., Ltd., e-commerce turnover of 76.33 billion yuan. The first three companies in the wholesale and retail trade are BMW (China) Automotive Trading Co., Ltd., e-commerce turnover of 75.22 billion yuan, Shanghai Pharmaceutical Distribution Holdings Limited, e-commerce turnover of 12.34 billion yuan; Beijing Jingdong Century Information Technology Co., Ltd. E-commerce turnover of 11.27 billion yuan. The first three enterprises in the service industry are China Southern Airlines Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Cat Technology Co., Ltd and Taobao (China) Software Co., Ltd., e-commerce turnover is 21.3 billion yuan, 5.88 billion yuan and 5.81 billion yuan respectively.
V. Foreign-invested enterprises have the highest level of application of E-commerce
From the registration type, 2012 years of domestic enterprises, Hong Kong and Macao Investment Enterprises and foreign-invested enterprises have e-commerce trading activities in the enterprises are 18,653, 1964 and 1956, respectively, accounting for all types of investigation enterprises 6.7%, 13.1% and 12.7% E-commerce sales accounted for 20.4%, 33.2% and 42.2% of operating income respectively, the highest foreign-invested enterprises. According to the growth rate of e-commerce turnover of enterprises with different registration types, the foreign-invested enterprises are 26.4%, and the domestic enterprises and the Hong Kong-Macao Investment Enterprises are 16.3% and 5.5% respectively. The participation degree and the application level of e-commerce in foreign-invested enterprises are obviously higher than those of domestic enterprises and Hong Kong, Macao and overseas enterprises.
