Effective integration of SOA cloud computing IaaS Latest standards

The open group has just announced two new industry standards to enable organizations to integrate SOA and cloud computing more effectively into a solution or enterprise architecture.

The first cloud standard of the Open group, the concept of a service-oriented cloud infrastructure framework (SOCCI) and the architectural infrastructure must support SOA and cloud computing. In addition, the group publishes a blueprint of the SOA Reference Architecture (SOA RA) for creating and evaluating SOA solutions.

Socci is the industry's first cloud computing standard, and companies want to provide infrastructure as a service in SOA and cloud computing. The Open group's SOA and cloud computing workgroup developed SOCCI provides an enabling framework for service-oriented components, providing SOA solutions and cloud services to the infrastructure. Using Socci Enterprises can consolidate cloud-based resources and services in its infrastructure to increase agility and scale.

The Open Group's SOA RA is an industry-standard Reference Architecture. It provides an enterprise architect with a common language and approach to creating SOA solutions that meet the needs of different businesses and business and it. The architecture provides an SOA vendor-neutral approach to eliminate additional work by preventing users, vendors, and customers from misunderstanding in shared terminology across line-of-business lines when different vendors map architectural concepts.

The open Group also released the update the Open Group Service Integration Maturity Model (OSIMM), which has now been approved as an ISO and IEC (ISO/IEC166880) International standard. Osimm gives the enterprise a common model to meet the business objectives to achieve the correct level of service development path.

OSIMM leverages proven best practices to enable consultants and it practitioners to assess the readiness and maturity of the enterprise with services in an SOA solution. By aligning business objectives and assessing the relevant SOA services, it practitioners can create a detailed roadmap for consolidating SOA and enterprise cloud solution services, with the recent ISO and IEC approvals for OSIMM 2.0, where organizations around the world have an extensible framework to understand the value of implementing service patterns, and guidelines for achieving their desired level of service maturity.
