Energy is the important material foundation of human survival and development, the energy Internet as a possible future energy sustainable solution is becoming the research hotspot and trend. This paper expounds the concept and characteristics of energy Internet, puts forward its basic structure, and discusses the integration of information and energy infrastructure from three aspects of WAN, LAN and infrastructure. This paper summarizes the development status of energy Internet technology at home and abroad, puts forward the solution of energy router as the integration of information and energy infrastructure, and gives a detailed description of energy Internet application scenario based on energy router.
