Energy-saving service industry output value of 41.7 billion yuan

BEIJING, December 6 (Xinhua) with the steady advance of energy saving and emission reduction, China's energy-saving service industry is booming. Today, China Energy Conservation Association Energy-Saving Service Industry Committee and Guangzhou Zhi Guang Electric Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement. Shen Ronghai, director of energy-Saving Service Industry Committee of China Energy Conservation Association, revealed at the signing ceremony that members of the energy-saving Service Industry Committee had increased from 59 to 300 since its inception, and that the output of China's energy-efficient service industry was about 41.7 billion yuan by the end of 2008.　　Employees 65,000 people, the Contract Energy management project investment reached 11.7 billion yuan. Shen Ronghai said that in recent years, China's government and some local governments such as Shanghai and Beijing have introduced policies and measures to support and encourage the promotion of contract energy management mechanisms and accelerate the development of energy-efficient service industries. More and more companies, especially the strength of private companies and state-owned enterprises to enter the field of energy-saving services.
