Enhancements to Windows Azure Management Portal Detail Description

Over the past three weeks, we have released a series of enhancements to the new Windows http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/13357.html ">azure Management portal." These new features include:

Support for localization support in 6 languages the operations log supports SQL database metrics virtual machine enhancements (quickly creating windows+ Linux virtual Machines) enhancements to the Web site (support for creating sites in all areas, deployment of personal GitHub repositories) cloud services improvements (from storage account deployments, Support for dedicated cache configuration) Media Service enhancements (can be uploaded, encoded, published, and manipulated in the portal) enhanced availability of virtual networks using storage account customization CNAME support

All of these enhancements are implemented in the product and can be used immediately. Here are the details:

Localization support

Windows Azure Portal now supports 6 languages-English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, and Japanese. You can easily switch languages by clicking on the user ID in the upper-right corner of the Portal:

When you select a different language, the portal switches the automatic refresh interface to the selected language:

Support Action Log

Windows Azure Portal now supports administrators to view the operational logs of the services they manage--it's easy to see the administrative actions that are taken. You can select the Settings tab in the Portal and select the action log (Twist Logs) tab to query. This will display a filter interface that allows you to query the action log based on time and date:

In our latest release, we have shown logs for all operations on cloud services and storage accounts. You can click any action in the list and click the Details button in the command bar to get the detailed status of the operation. It is now possible to obtain details of each administrative operation performed.

In future updates, you will see our expansion of the operational log feature, which will be applied to all Windows Azure Services-which will lead to better analysis and audit support.
