Enterprise-facing free cloud storage is a trend

To compete with AWS, Google decided to adjust the price of its cloud computing platform, teaming up with a start-up company known as Panzura, offering the company a 2TB of cloud storage space a year for free.

Google, Microsoft's Azure are trying to approach the same industry leading AWS, price war is the first two often used in the play, and in accordance with this trend, the common cloud service profit model in the cloud storage this piece, the future may be free.

Currently AWS's cloud storage services are priced at 1 tb/120 dollars, and Microsoft's AZure current pricing strategy is that customers use 1TB of data each month for 2.4 cents per gigabyte.

When cloud storage services tend to be free, the main profit margins for future cloud computing will be primarily in the software and services provided by cloud service vendors. For Google, it can attract corporate customers through nearly free cloud storage services, and then sell Maps Engine Pro, which is similar to visible corporate data visualization.

Panzura's main function is to help corporate customers store their data in Amazon, Microsoft and Google's data centers, while providing corporate customers with tools to facilitate access to the data anytime, anywhere. When corporate users use Google's cloud computing services, a single sign-on is not paid for Panzura, and multiple sign-on, you need to pay Panzura a certain fee.
