Eric is a full-featured http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/13430.html ">ruby editor and IDE written in Python." It is based on a cross-platform QT GUI toolkit that integrates highly flexible Scintilla editor controls. Designed to be used as an editor for daily quick and temporary emergencies, as well as a professional project management tool, Python provides professional encoders that integrate a variety of advanced features. Eric includes a plug-in system that can easily download the plugin extensions IDE features from the Web. The current stable version is based on the ERIC4 version of Qt4 and Python 2, and the ERIC5 version based on Python3 and QT4.

The Eric 5.1.5 version fixes some errors.
