EU launches cloud computing strategy releases European cloud computing potential

Recently, the Commission's digital Agenda Committee issued a bulletin entitled "Releasing cloud computing potential in Europe", announcing a new cloud computing strategy to promote the application of cloud computing in all areas and create plenty of jobs. To implement the strategy, the European Commission has set out a series of concrete measures aimed at creating 2.5 million new jobs in Europe by 2020 and producing 160 billion euros a year (accounting for 1% of EU GDP).

Fair and efficient transactions between copyright holders and cloud service providers, as well as between cloud service providers and consumers, are fair and effective compensation to copyright holders. At the same time, the European Commission needs to give due consideration to the new opportunities emerging from the new business model. Cloud service providers are encouraged to provide multinational services that allow consumers to enjoy these services from different Member States.
