Cloud Note Application developer Evernote announced today that it has won 20 million of billions of dollars from Japan's media giant Nikkei group, and that the Nikkei group's publication will appear in the context of Evernote in the future.
Evernote introduced the context feature in early October, which provides information support to users by analyzing their work content, searching for past notes from users and their colleagues, and other resources.
Other resources covered by the context feature include news sites such as LinkedIn and the Wall Street Journal, all of which are from the United States. The Nikkei group became the first overseas news media involved in Evernote's context function, and the context feature is now supporting Japanese.
"We believe the Nikkei and Evernote need to accomplish a similar mission to help knowledge workers improve their productivity," Tsuneo Kita, CEO of the Nikkei Group, said in a statement. The partnership is not limited to providing business news through Evernote, and we are happy to work with others to find new services that can radically change the way people are working. ”
It is reported that the Nikkei group and Evernote context function integration will begin in early 2015.
