EVILVTE is a terminal simulator. It supports tab pages, all VTE, Auto hide tab bars, and the ability to switch encodings at run time. The configuration is accomplished by editing the source code and recompiling, including some customization features such as whether to display a window border, set the font/color, and so on.

The EVILVTE 0.4.9 version fixes the makefile file, supports Gtkgrid, and uses a new icon theme. This version is fully compatible with gtk++ 3.x and glib2.29.x and supports embedded gtk3_css.
