One of the main features we add to deploying and managing Windows Azure is to support other platforms such as Mac and Linux.
We have provided a new HTML5 user interface and a cross-platform command-line tool. Using the user interface or tools you can create Windows Azure sites/virtual machines and deploy to the cloud using Git or FTP. In addition, our partner CLOUD9 launched Windows Azure Web sites support for the CLOUD9 integrated development environment
User interface
The new ports provide a simplified experience for managing your Windows Azure Web Sites, virtual machines, or even your SQL database instance. Most importantly, you can access it from any browser, including/android devices like ISO devices or Windows
Phone, below you can see the same user interface running in the ipad emulator.
Create Web Sites
In the user interface, you can easily create a new Windows Azure Web Sites. Below you can see the new site where I want to publish the Node.js application.
Git support
Once you have created a Windows Azure Web Sites in the user interface, you can enable Git publishing in the user interface that will create endpoints in your site.
