November 24, according to foreign media reports, Apple's website recruitment information shows that the company plans to extend its "reuse and recycling program" (Reuse and Recycling) to the Asia-Pacific region and Latin America-the Caribbean and other emerging markets.
According to the job description, the company's "recycling" team is recruiting a recycling global project manager responsible for the current and future global cycle of Apple's online stores, education, retail and dealership channels.
Recruitment information also shows that the project manager to be recruited will be responsible for the development and implementation of the Asia-Pacific and Latin America-Caribbean recycling projects, similar to the United States and the United Kingdom currently appear in similar projects.
In addition, the project manager will be responsible for the improvement of recycling operations in Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa (Emeia) region and North America.
Apple's recruitment message suggests the company will also expand its current project coverage to maintain Apple's lead in these emerging markets. For this purpose, the project manager's position also includes the provision of new sales and leasing projects to increase sales, increase Apple's share of second-hand electronics, reduce the number of Apple products flowing into unlicensed markets, and improve the recovery rate of Apple products to achieve environmental objectives.
Apple first launched a reuse and recycling program in August 2012 and worked with PowerOn to recycle second-hand iphones, ipads and Macs.
Earlier this week, Apple's recycling services expanded to include an iphone or ipad damaged by damp or water immersion. Prior to this, Apple did not receive equipment damaged by dampness or water.
